The Lissajous videos
In October 2024, I created a series of videos explaining the math behind Lissajous figures – special mathematical shapes that have a strong connection to music and harmony. These videos amassed over 5 million views across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Now, I sell 3D prints of these shapes on my Etsy shop.
My animations
I animate! I'm proficient in Blender for 3D animation and RoughAnimator for 2D animation. I also know Maya and Da Vinci Resolve.
The Laser Harp
In 2020, I finished work on what I consider to be my greatest invention: A fully playable, homemade musical instrument controlled by lasers.
To build this project, I used an Arduino. The eight lasers shine onto eight responsive photodiodes, which can communicate to the Arduino when their light is being blocked. The Arduino then can play a correspondent note using a small speaker. The design also sports a mode button, three mode light indicators, two buttons for transposition, and a joystick for both pitch bend and octave switching.
